Coney Island has become a contentious place in New York City’s socio-economic struggle between the haves and the have-nots. Apparently developers are eye-ing the historic beachfront as the site for a luxury hotel and condominiums. More information about it can be found here.
I just had to go and ride the Cyclone and Wonder Wheel before the rides closed for the summer, and possibly forever.
